Stanislaus County Human Relations

Project Overview
Stanislaus County wanted help recruiting employees. Competing with other counties and the private sector is no easy task. To do that we focused the brand and campaign on what Stanislaus County has to offer. A wonderful community, great work-life balance, and a supportive environment.
My Contributions
Worked closely with team of designers to develop the logo, brand guides, and "Take your place" campaign. I also animated the logo.
A Central Valley governmental organization is competing for talent with flashy Bay area start-ups and counties further north. How do you help them not look like stuffy old bureaucrats? With a fresh rebranding of course!

In order to create a brand for the County, we met with numerous employees at various stages in their careers to discover what the soul of the organization was. We learned where they were succeeding and where they had failed. We ultimately came up with a brand that focused on the idea that there is a place for everyone to live and work in Stanislaus County.

The final logo evokes the many pieces that come together to keep a county running. Everyone from mechanics to lawyers who live in this county are represented. The colors are meant to be inviting and open.
